JB Challenge: Feeling Fruity Entry #1: Watermelon Thanks

Hello and welcome back! Today I'm sharing a thank you card I made for the Jaded Blossom August Monthly Challenge. This month the theme is Feeling Fruity. About a week ago one of our subcontractors gifted me a Starbucks gift card. I knew I wanted to make her a slimline card. I had the perfect paper for it too, but I didn't know I would be giving it to her on National Watermelon Day or that this month's JB challenge was fruit themed! It must be serendipity! Handmade Minnie Mouse Thank You Card

Good Evening...I'm about ready to turn in for the night, but not before I share my blingy Minnie Mouse Thank You card I made to thank Summerlin Jewelers in Las Vegas, NV for picking me to win a Citizen Minnie Mouse watch back in May! All I had to do was share my favorite Disney memory and wait 24 hours for them to randomly pick a winner and it was me! OMG this watch is so dang cute! And it goes so well with all the pink outfits I own!

Thankful for You Card

Fall Greetings! I have been MIA lately, I apologize, I was making sympathy cards for friends that have recently lost loved ones, then 11 days ago a psychopath holed up for 4 days with a full arsenal and decided to snap killing 58 people at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. I had several friends there thankfully are safe, but need some counseling. Others were not as fortunate. Bill Wolfe, Jr's family were staying at the RV Resort that I work at and he and his wife were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary at the concert, during the shooting they were separated. I had given their aunt and uncle the coroner investigators email address as it was still early on and everyone was trying to locate their loved ones. When I returned to work the following Saturday, I had a note thanking me for helping them find Bill, and it was not the outcome they had wanted. I made the family the sympathy card below:

Beach Boy 1 Thank You Card

Happy Saturday! Unfortunately today is my Monday since I have to work today. Bleh! Today I bring you a thank you card I made this card for one of our temporary residents at the RV Resort, his nickname is Beach Boy 1, and he's such a charismatic character! I bought him a slice of apple pie from our cafe because he had been missing it with his afternoon naps (he's battling cancer) and he surprised me with a $50 Buffalo Wild Wings gift card, unfortunately he left before I could give him this card. So I got this in the mail today. He works for the Beach Boys and offered to get me 4 tickets to the show here in Vegas in September. I can't wait!
