I made this cute red balloon card for my mom, even though I wanted to make an "old goat" card. Hahaha!

Enjoy Your Summer

Hello again!

So if you don't already know Tuesday Mornings is going out of business. As a crafter this is heartbreaking, because I liked getting my paper pads there. As I was perusing the aisles, I saw a cute Legoland Florida beach towel with a shark and Emmett dressed up as a shark and I purchased it for my nephew, Brandon. His mama raised him to love sharks like his mama and his Titi Jen. So I made him this dancing shark card to go with his towel to celebrate the end of school and beginning of summer.

One of my Superintendents ordered 2 cards 1 for his wife and 1 for his daughter. He and his wife have a Yorkie and so I made her card "dog friendly"

Jaded Blossom Challenge: Animals

Hello friends! I hope this post finds you all safe and healthy. I know may of my family and friends have been furloughed during this pandemic. I can only offer prayers and encouragement for you. Please do your best to stay positive as we all learn to weather the new "normal". I'm blessed to still be working, my new company values all of their employees and keeps us all in the loop with daily COVID updates. The main office staff is supporting the field from their home offices. Between my mom making masks and my employer providing essential virus protection, I am protected. As we know, mental illness is a serious medical condition. You may suffer from anxiety or mild depression or have deep depression. Self-care is vital during these times of being isolated. Thankfully I don't live alone, and I like to use humor and crafting as my "escape". That being said, I bring you my latest project. My favorite stamp company Jaded Blossom is having a sale and challenge through today to use an animal in a project. I made this card in honor of my bestie to make her laugh across the miles.

I'm Back!!!!!!!

Greetings from the Sunshine State!

I've been on a hiatus from crafting for about a year and it feels so good to be back creating happiness!

After almost 20 years in Las Vegas, I moved with my parents back to Florida to be near them in their retirement. We moved into our new home in Kissimmee, home to Mickey Mouse & friends, at the end of March. In July, I was hired on at a wonderful, national construction company, that is Christian based. The job I was assigned to is in Celebration and it's a hospital job. My title is Job Site Assistant, but I do HR,Accounting and Administrative duties. My coworkers are the best! So welcoming and helpful! There's a staff of 12 in our trailer, and I knew when I started that I wanted to make everyone a special birthday card as they celebrate birthdays monthly. I've made a few cards so far since I've been here.

I also made an adorable shaker card for my BFF Shannan for her Halloween Birthday, she said it was my best one yet! LOL! She's biased, of course. Hahaha!

Valentine's Day Post-It Note Holders

Hey there! Where do you find your inspiration? Well I was cleaning up my craft room and found some 6x4 acrylic frames that I had used in the past for Post-It note holders for Madison's teachers. I thought it would be a great idea to use up my supplies and make them for the girls at work for Valentine's Day! Then I got the wonderful idea to have them say I heart "fill in the blank", then I went to each lady and asked them what they love and explained what I was doing. I had lots of confused looks, but in the end they turned out fabulously! Please note this post is PHOTO HEAVY!
