Happy Berg-Day!

Hey Y'all! Jen here in sunny Florida! Just making cards trying to reset from the recent company that just came to visit, and mentally prepare for more later this week. I am what I like to call myself an extroverted introvert. Sometimes there's just a people overload, and I need some solo time to recharge.

I work in a small construction trailer with about 20 people + another 20 field workers. My goal this year is to make handmade birthday cards for the people in the trailer. Starting with Mike, a February birthday like me!

Mike doesn't like to celebrate his birthday; I find that's typical of men, but he's a punny guy and I thought this card was too cute. I'm leaving the inside blank so we can all sign it.

Thanks for stoppin' by! Comments are welcome! Stay tuned for more fun this year!

2023 Jaded Blossom Challenge: January - ANYTHING GOES

Greetings & Happy New Year!

One of my dearest friends from high school just turned 50 this week. I was at a crossroads about what to make her and then I remembered the Hey Chickie set and I got to creatin'.

I made my own background with the girl and boy chicks. Then chalked a girl chick with a darker yellow chalk, cut out a bow in dark lavender paper and sparkle to it. I love how it turned out.

Stay tuned for more fun!

Thanks for stoppin' by

2022 Jaded Blossom Challenge: December - NON-TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLORS!

It's time for another Jaded Blossom Challenge - Non-Traditional Christmas Colors! My mom asked me to make her a thank you card so I thought I'd make a purple poinsettia for the JB Challenge.

Here's my entry for the Non-Traditional Christmas Colors Challenge.

Birthday Wishes & Jellyfish Kisses

Hello again! I was busy today, sharing my third card in the So Jelly collection. Does anyone else not like to make the same card twice? I like to make cards just once and claim they're one of a kind. Similar, yes, but one of a kind. It's like a work of art, there's only one Mona Lisa, lots of copies and replicas but just one original of her.

Back to sharing my card

The kissy face from the Eggcellent set (Retired) was the perfect add on with this sentiment. I kept the inside simple with a couple of mini jellyfish and a scrolly happy birthday.

Thanks for stopping by, leave a comment and let me know where you find your inspiration.

Waving Hello

How does the sea say hello? ...it waves Bwhahahaha! I crack myself up sometimes. Howdy from soggy Florida. Hurricane season is ending soon, and I can't wait for some better weather.

Anyhoo, I've decided to start selling my cards. So, I'm going to build my stash one stamp set at a time. Starting with So Jelly. Yesterday I posted my first card for the JB Anything Goes challenge with my mini jellyfish.

Today I have another card, in this collection. "Waving Hello"

I made this gorgeous monochromatic card with the jellyfish from So Jelly.

I love how it turned out. But then again, this is my passion and I'm biased of my own work. Toot toot

Please let me know your thoughts and stay tuned for more craftiness!

2022 Jaded Blossom Challenge: November - Anything Goes

It's time for another Jaded Blossom Challenge! I'm coming off a high from winning last month's challenge with my Beetlejuice card. And I won the August Blog Hop! More stamp sets for me! Eek!

Getting back to this month's challenge, ANYTHING GOES! Hmmm so many different directions to go. I'm sticking to my main idea when I saw the hat from the Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1, my brain instantaneously went it's a jellyfish! So without further ado, here's my entry for the Anything Goes Challenge.

I need to work on my coloring, but I'm happy with the turnout. My red Copic is dried out.

Thanks for stopping by!

NFL Gnomes Get Well Cards

One of my trivia partners saw my Tampa Bay Buccaneer gnome birthday card and fell in love. She asked me if she could buy one for her friend who just had surgery and has season tickets to the Bucs. They are my team since 1974. So I gladly made her a card for her friend.

Then I was inspired to make a card for my friend's wife who is a huge Raiders fan and was recently diagnosed with cancer. I made her a get well card.

Thanks for Stopping By! Stay tuned for more gnome projects!
