Rose Shaker

Today I'm sharing a thank you shaker for our resident floral groundskeeper at work. Patty takes care of the the plants and roses in our wedding garden. Well if you know Vegas weather, we get weeks on end of high temps in the 110's. While Patty was out on leave for surgery the person taking over placed rocks in the rose garden, which caused them to fry the roots and it also makes for upset brides. I called Patty a few weeks ago and asked her to meet with the bride and myself to see what, if anything could be done to get the roses looking like they did in the spring when she signed her contract. After two days of searching local nurseries and some phone calls to her floral contacts, she finally procured some gorgeous roses to save the day and had the rock taken out and replaced with mulch, when they did this we also discovered we had rose grubs. Now everything is pristine for the bride's BIG DAY on Saturday. I made her this pretty shaker card as a way to say thank you!
