Grandparents Day!

Grandparents Day was September 2nd. Here are some cards that my daughter made for Ya-Ya and Papa.

Inside: My love for you grows more and more each day.

Inside: You’re more powerful than Superman!

You’re a ‘super’ pops! Have a ‘super’ grandparent’s day!

Lunch Box Cards

My daughter loves to take her lunch to school, occasionally I will make a card and sneak it in her lunch. She says it makes her feel special when I do it. Learning is Fun was made for her for the first day of school, 5th grade!

I call this one Pocket Full of Sunshine. I used the pocket and sun dies from Sizzix and was going to try to do the stitching and I might add that later. I wrote "I hope your day is like a pocket full of sunshine"

10-31 Black Cat

Meow! Here's another card with a cuttlebug folder, the stamp was found in the $1 bin at Michael's, & the ribbon is $1 ribbon found at Joann's.

The first one was kind of dark, so I zoomed in and took a close up.

Boo! You've Been Ghosted!

Here's another card that my mom made. She used the haunted house cuttlebug embossing folder. The ghost is from Paper Doll Dress Up and I added the cute little pumpkin from the Halloween cuttlebug die.

This is the inside of the card. Basically it's like Secret Santa for Halloween.

Happy Haunting!

Black Widow

I got my Cuttlebug (CB) folders in the mail the other day and I couldn't wait to use them! I just love my first creation, the black widow.

Here's a close up.

Can you see the little fangs I made?

Silly Spider

Hi there! I thought I'd share this card that my mom made. I'm pretty sure I get my creativity from her, but she made this one after I made my spider card. (he he he) She used clear thread for the web thread that the spider is hanging from.

SPAMTASTIC!

Today I made a b-day card for my friend Amee's mom who is 65 years young. She loves SPAM and so do my daughter and I. We had not met until yesterday and she is just darling. We share a love for SPAM and neither one of us can wait until her husband goes out of town so we can eat SPAM together! Here's my rendition of a can of SPAM.

Whoo Loves You?
Ya-Ya's Pop Up
My daughter went off to camp with our church in July. They go to Big Bear, CA for a week. A whole lotta 4th & 5th graders! So Ya-Ya and I had a marathon of card making so Madison could receive a card everyday she was there. Homemade, of course! Here are a few of our favorites...Mad's favorite was the pop up card from Ya-Ya & Papa.

Another Paint Can?

Sorry I couldn't help it. :) My mom and I made this for my Aunt Linda in Michigan. She is a first grade teacher. Sorry the lid pic is kind of fuzzy. This time it was me. He He He!

PE Teacher

Mrs. Ozawa loves Tinkerbell! She is just like her too a spitin' image of Tink. We think she's FABULOUS! Oh yeah, that's her favorite word.

Music Teacher

Doesn't the lid rock? This can was for Mr. Wilson our favorite music teacher!

Art Teacher Can

This one is my favorite...so far. I just love the colors of the paper and the matching ribbon was an added plus. Ms. Summers is the best art teacher ever!

Close up of lid
My mom and I took a class at our local scrapbook store about 5 years ago and I haven't stopped making them since! I love paint cans! Last school year I made a can for each of my daughter's teachers. Her regular teacher, PE teacher, Music teacher and Art teacher. Sorry about the pics some are dark. Let me know which one your favorite is...
