Okay I love this purse card from Jen C! My friend Amee asked me to make her a card for the day care director that was leaving. She said she loves shopping. What could be better than a purse!

A long time comin'

This post is a long time coming. My Memaw (grandmother) passed away on October 7th and I haven't been feeling crafty. It's been almost 26 years since I've to deal with a death in the family. May God continue to bless her in Heaven, she is now with her beloved, Floyd. How ironic is it that my best friend of twenty years, Shannan, lost her grandmother the day we traveled back home from the funeral. Our bond is stronger and we now share something special.

Okay on with the cards! Here is my Hello Kitty Card. I'm a tad but frustrated because it doesn't look like it "fits" like it should.

Lunch Box Cards

My daughter loves to take her lunch to school, occasionally I will make a card and sneak it in her lunch. She says it makes her feel special when I do it. Learning is Fun was made for her for the first day of school, 5th grade!

I call this one Pocket Full of Sunshine. I used the pocket and sun dies from Sizzix and was going to try to do the stitching and I might add that later. I wrote "I hope your day is like a pocket full of sunshine"
