I Still Love You

Hello Crafty World!

We all have pet peeves, I have a few, but today I'm highlighting one of them. The empty toilet paper roll. My teenage daughter and I share a bathroom at my parents home. I get so frustrated with her when she uses up all the toilet paper and then leaves an empty roll with no backups or not replacing it. I have started to do the same thing with her to teach her a lesson, it still hasn't sunken in yet. Anyways, I was surfing the internet for simple cards to try and make on my own by tracing them with the Silhouette program. I found a card and thought it would make a perfect valentine's day card for my daughter. It's simple and true. Here's to a great valentine's day weekend! We are spending it with my dad in California!

It's Yarr Birthday!

Ahoy there! Today I finished another fun birthday card for my stash. I find it difficult to come up with male cards, so I'm really pushing myself to make more of them, especially since my godson is a wee lil' mate. I'm also trying out new backgrounds. Constructive criticism is welcome from those that are veteran crafters.

Have a SUPER Day!

Here's a card I lifted the design from Paper Crafts by Candace. I love the blog hops that SVG Cutting Files has and since I'm usually short on time to come up with my own designs or ideas, I mimic others work. I thought he was SUPER cute that lil' Captain America dude. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery, right?

Sooie! Go Hog Wild!

Howdy Y'all! Just sharin' another birthday card I made. This is the pig treat cup card and since I don't have any treat cups I decided to make it a shaker card.

Isn't this the cutest little piggy?

Hairy Birthday

It's been so long since I've posted anything. Well I'm hoping that changes soon assuming school doesn't get the in way. I've been inspired by some very creative and sassy ladies at SVG Cutting Files.com and Jaded Blossom. I'm not sure what I plan on doing with the cards, but I've been wanting to make a variety of birthday greetings to keep on hand. I refuse to buy Hallmark, frankly, because I feel I can do a much better job and I can really tailor the cards to my friends and family. Thanks for stoppin' by to check out my work!
