Happy Birthday to me!

Today is my 38th birthday! I am taking a break from the computer and uploading my pics of my crafts today. Happy birthday to me! I posted on my facebook account and asked everyone where my handmade birhtday cards were! ROFL!

Snail Mail!

Well...sometimes life gets in the way and you have to do what you don't want to, like do the laundry or paint a room when all you really want to do is make cards or play with the Cricut. I got behind in my birthday cards and now have to make belated cards. I really love the Paisley cartridge and this cute snail. I also caught up with a friend from elementary school, Dawn. She was so cute and now we are mothers and raising our kids. I love finding "dear" friends on facebook. I felt bad missing her birthday but wanted to make it special. She loved her card and posted a nice comment on her profile page.

Viva Las Vegas!

Finally a card for a family member! My favorite cousin Nick, my mother's twin sister's son. Nick loves everything Vegas, including Elvis. I share his love of Elvis and since I live in Vegas and it's so hard to make a masculine card, I came up with this one. It's kind of fuzzy, but the outside says...If after the first 20 minutes you don't know who the sucker at the table is...IT'S YOU!

The inside reads:Here’s to not being the sucker this year.Happy Birthday!

Oh Happy Day!

I recently have connected with some dear friends from the past on facebook. I met Melanie at a church in Port Orange, FL when I was going to Jr. High. My dad used to give nick names to my school friends. Maybe it was easier than learning their names. Who knows? Dad called Melanie "Melon Head". Remembering her nickname I totally thought how cute it would be to make a tri-fold card (my first one) and use Don Juan's Oh Happy Day with the smiley face. :)

Magical Birthday!

I have to apologize for neglecting my blog. I hope to be able to post more often this year and to catch up on my posts. January was a busy birthday month for me. This card was made for another friend that works for Disney. It's not Disney related but I really love the way it turned out. The unicorn is from the Paisley cartridge.

Belt it out!

This card was made for my High School friend, Jennifer. She is in a band and loves to sing. She even got me signing karaoke! We both love the color green too! I left the #17 open because that is her birthday. I scraplifted this design from the Custom Crops website & my favorite designer Donna Mundinger!

May All Your Wishes Come True!

My goal this year was to make birthday cards for all of my friends and family. This was for my friend Christa who works for Disney and is a huge princess fan. Christa had the honor of getting the first card of 2010! This card was the example from the Sweet Treats cartridge.
